Leggings
Leggings are form-fitting, stretchy legwear that typically end at the ankle. Unlike tights, they're footless and usually opaque enough to wear as pants (debatably).
Leggings vs Tights

|---|---|
| Footless | Usually footed |
| Opaque | Can be sheer |
| Thicker fabric | Often thinner |
| Can be worn as pants* | Under clothing only |
*Controversial—see "leggings are not pants" debate
